Are Dohc ZC pistons the same as a D16a6 pistons or any D16 non-vtec?

nope, dohc has te domed pistons for higher compression

just use the damn ZC ones till you buy better forged ZC pistons ;)

I have high comp pistons in my d16a1 but there custome made JE pistons

How did you get customs made high compression pistons for you ZC and where could i pick some up at?

je or wiesco, 75mm bore high comp pistons, there the same a sohc just more domed. you could also shave the block a little and shave the head a little

88-89 d16a1 pistons are the same as the dohc zc.
$40 with rods from the junkyard ain't bad.

but for boost, get the forged ones, a nice 10:1 comp piston for a d16 will be a shade under 9 in the zc i belave
