Default d15b7-> mini-me?

Has anyone done a mini-me with the d15b7? I did a search and couldn't find anything on it. The head will most likely be a stock 95 ex or canadian si head. Any info appreciated...

EDIT:
Well I don't know why but it says I am banned from this forum so to ask you the question I'll do an edit and maybe get an answer to why I am banned?

Anyways what I would like to know is how high will it bump the compression ratio up? Also will this be a decent setup to boost?

I'm pretty sure mine is a d15b7. it's the STD model (4spd. tranny). I've got most of the parts I need to do the swap, just need the time Why whats your question?

Thanks Onyx, I logged off the internet, and then logged back on and it worked. That was really weird.

So, anyways what I would like to know is how high will it bump the compression ratio up? Also will this be a decent setup for boost?

Thanks

Lovitt

There is a D series compression calculator floating around somewhere, that will tell you the comp. I don't think it goes up very much. Also, this won't effect the bottom end so I would just boost it now and don't waste time with the top.

yeah if your planning for boost later on, it might not be so practical to do the head swap. I mean with the power you'll gain from the turbo, you'll definately make up for the head swap. However, the added vtec could be nice along with a turbo setup. It's all up to you I guess.

honestly man if you are going with boost I would just do a complete d16z6 swap. It will keep your compression lower than the minime which would be good for turbo. Also I would swap on a d16z6 tranny before putting on the head. The tranny should help you out a whole lot.
