non vtec heads are worth 20 bucks maybe d15b7 street value 100 bucks at most complete there are 1000's in peoples garages I personally have gotten numerous 1.5's for free for just taken them out of people yards/garages so dont expect much

 

No, it IS a VTEC head. it's a D15B7 with a D16Z6 head on it. I just got the car home tonight, and i checked it out. I have a z6 complete block, i think i'll just swap the head over to, and sell as a complete 1.6 vtec, i'd get more outta that then the damn b7.

 

still a sohc VTEC isnt worth much un less u find a huge dumb *** i personaly dont think the extra $$$ is worth ur effort it will be like 50$ more maby and a head gasget cost almost that but hey if u wanna do the work

You sure it's not a VX motor? Are you SURE that you are reading the block Tag properly?
