D15B2 --> H22 EG CIVIC

Hi all,
Ive got a d15b2 engine in an EG civic and it appears to be OBD1. All the other d15b2 threads I see point to the engine being OBD0. The car is a 94 so it must be OBD1 right?
If this is correct How can I convert the OBD1 d15b2 from DPFI to MPFI? When searching all I see is OBD0 D15B2 to OBD1 conversions. If anyone can help clear this issue up it would be great. Once converted I would like to swap in a H22 engine running a P13 ECU.
Cheers

:1

It is all right there in front of you

How many injectors does your car have right now?
What color are the injector clips?
What ecu are you using now?

Just cause your motor is a d15b2 doesn't mean it can't be obd1

The ---- is already obd1

No it's xmas and parents are holding off to give "materials" to their youngsters so they get them on sale. Then they flock here to compare with H-T

Nobody would be stupid enough to convert a 94 Civic to obd0 just to run a d15b2. Alright, maybe Hotrex.

Using the OBD1 manifold from the previous d-series motor, you can swap in virtually any SOHC d-series from 1988-2000. If it has 4 injectors and an obd1 ecu (won't have a diamond-shape/LED on the cover), it will be OBD1. All you have to do is swap in the H22 and make the correct wire changes.

The euro spec 92-95 civic's had dpfi in some of them

Ok I have searched (h22 civic wiring) but most people seem to have chassis that have multi point injection and VTEC or they are dealing with OBDII stuff. This is a euro spec d15b2 yes with DPFI & no VTEC. I have aquired a d15z1 harness (with VTEC and MPFI) but it doesnt connect into the shock tower harness as the d15b2 harness did. There is one plug that connects right up and one that is left hanging. The wiring guides look easy but its just this glitch thats confusing me. Both harness's are taken from 1994 EG civics. The d15z1 harness was taken from a japanese import. I know I can use a d16z6 harness to make things easier

The d15b2 injector connectors are brown and green (primary and auxillary). The d15z1 connectors are grey (x4). My current ECU is a 37820-p04-g02, I have a P13 on standby for running the h22 and have access to a socketed P28 if I want to eliminate the knock sensor.

Cheers

Re: D15B2 --> H22 EG CIVIC

This is the info taken from the wiki ( i wish PGMFI.org still had this info available :(

D15B2

* Found in:
o 1988-1991 Honda Civic GL/DX/LX
o 1988-1991 Honda CRX DX
o 1992-1995 Honda Civic LSi Hatch/Saloon (European Market)
o 1990-1995 Honda Concerto (European Market)
+ Displacement : 1,493 cc (91.1 cu in)
+ Bore and Stroke : 75 mm × 84.5 mm (3.0 in × 3.3 in)
+ Rod Length : 134 mm
+ Compression : 9.2:1
+ Power : 92 hp (69 kW) @ 6000 rpm & 119 Nm @ 4500 rpm
+ Valvetrain : SOHC (4 valves per cylinder)
+ Cam Gear : 38 tooth
+ Piston Code : PM3
+ Fuel Control : PGM-FI Dual Point (OBD0)
+ Redline : 6500 rpm (6000 rpm honda concerto) 7200 rpm rev limiter

I think most people assume its obd0 but if its in a 92-95 chassis then its gotta be obd1 surely? Mine is a 94 model. The fuel control says OBD0 on wiki, which is confusing? Ive got the d15z1 harness now but does that mean the harness in my chassis (shock tower to ECU) is obd0. I thought OBD was dictated by year not engine code
:-?

obd is dictated by ecu
