I have a D15b1 in a 89 civic SiR and it looks like a Vtec. The illustrations in the book look like non vtec. I guess i need to know if my d15b1 vtec is the stock motor for my car or a d15b1 with a different head and a vtec solanoid. Pic on this link. nother question. From the vtec solanoid there is a green plastic connector that appears to be broken with 2 metal tines, and another green/white wire coming from the top of the sollanoid and that is not connected to anything either. What do i connect these to?

 

Cant find any literature on this motor at all or anyone else with this same motor. Found d15b vtec for 92-95 civic del sol and d15b1 non vtec for earlier models.
Can anyone reccomend a good engine swap for this car or any suggestions.
