d15b swap, no spark?
Ok, I purchased a D15b engine out of a running car, that I observed running myself just before he pulled it. It was in a 92 hatch. I just swapped it in my 93 coupe dx to replace my old worn d15b7. I am using a stock ECU which I believe is a PM6 or P06 and stock wiring harness. I am getting fuel and the engine is turning over but no spark. Nothing on the dizzy or spark plug wires was touched after coming out of the running car. Could it be an ECU incompatiability? I have ran a search on this issue and it seems that this has been a rather common issue but every solution point to firing order or the coil/igniter assembly, which I don't think would be the case in my situation because it is exactly as it was when it came from the running vehicle.
the more grounds the better, all the clips on your ecu pluged in ?? or the ecu fuse blew, (passanger side strut tower fuse box) those are some of the easy things that would make it not spark, try those and see whats up.
