D15b?
Cosidering how Honda parts are so interchangeable, I thought I'd ask for help with some motor identification.
I have a 91 CRX Hf, but I recently took the valve cover off to reveal a 16 valve cylinder head. My first aasumption was that it most likely has Dx pistons, since of course the Hf ones dont clear the extra valves. Then it hit, check the block stamp you idiot. So I did and came up with D15b? I know the Hf stamp is D15b6, so what the hell is in my car? I always assumed it was an Hf, it drove like one and for the most part it had every Hf component, even that shitty little intake manifold that flows like crap. So who can tell me what this motor came out off? thanxs. |
Re:D15b?
Just a D15B - it sounds like it's a std. motor with the HF injection... if it's slow, then it's most likely that.technically the std motor was a d15b1, but I dont' know, somebody may...

Re:D15b?
Damn that is wierd. Someone takes the effort to find and install a jdm d15b and uses a dx/si head with the hf intake. Damn I see a new hybrid everyday.
