D15 or D16 head
is there that big of a differance between these 2 heads I have a d15b2 and was going to put a D16A6 head on for a little more power but since i already have an si intake and a si cam in it and a few ather things would it be worth my time

Re:D15 or D16 head
not really IMO. I think a y8 vtec head would be though.

Re:D15 or D16 head
It will make a difference though...especially when porting the head
tha A6 head flows better... |
Re:D15 or D16 head
what if i p&p the d15
|
Re:D15 or D16 head
I don't know...but I've heard the D16A6 head is the better flowing head
|
Re:D15 or D16 head
i donr know much, when it comes to hondas, but what about the d16a1(i think) the 1st gen integra head. would that bolt on?

Re:D15 or D16 head
Sorry dude...a d16a1 head doesn't bolt on. It's gotta be one of the only d-series heads that don't match up. If u want a dual cam, get a b series. As far as flow goes, the d16a6 does flow a little better than the b2. Maybe u should try gettin a z6 or a y8 head instead...vtec whoop whoop! ;D

Re:D15 or D16 head
IMO, I think the setup you have already is good. Just
P & P the d15 one. SI cam & si intake sounds OK. Almost everywhere I've read the d15 breathes better into the higher rev range with the si cam. I have a d16a6 & I'm going to a y8 head with a P & P head. Now the vtec fuel maps & boost gets more complicated ??? |
Re:D15 or D16 head
WRONG the b2 head is identical to the A6 head, only differance is the cam. and intake mani. so your wrong, i would keep the head on their if you already have the a6 cam and the intake mani.
