Re:d series trans
i dont know. ive never heard of anyone breaking one of these tranys, but i would say u wouldnt have to worry about upgrading unless u are running slicks, then u would start snapping axles, then after u got stronger axles u would have to upgrade the diff.

Re:d series trans
i know one guy who's broken 3. mostly due to his gorrilla *** missing shifts, doing stunna burnouts at every light, spinning tire like crazy at autox, and just being a complete dumb *** behind the wheel. first one was the input shaft bearing, then the countershaft bearing somehow walked itself out of the case , and lastly the already weak diff blew on him during another 6000rpm idiot drag launch. this guy's a retard by the way.
if you have a 95 and below, broken shift forks are common however. mista bone says he goes through one every race season. but the 96+ trannies are pretty solid overall, upgrade the diff and you'll be set. most of the time, it's not the trannys fault, it's the person controlling the tranny that is to blame.

damn man 7 trannies? wuts up with that. Mine held up good on 10 lbs. of boost for 6 months and still going. But on the other hand my friends went in like 2 weeks after he turbod his car. I guess it all depends on driver and just the cond. mileage etc. that was on it. Ive also heard though like the main bearing going out on them. not sure though.
