Default d series pistons

What pistons do most of you guys use in your built d series? i'm planning on making around 250-300 hp..i know wiseco are nice but out of my price range..any input would help..thanks.

go with nippon racing pistons, they are about 125$ on ebay or less, depends on the end of the auction.

they are good if you want to pay 400$ for pistons in a d16

I run vitaras in mine. They have worked great so far, in my built block.

Nippon pistons didn't fit my friends build.. I honestly don't know why, pretty sure it was something with the wrist pins and scat rods.

hey, maybe i cought this in time!

I am running SRP's. I needed a .25mm over bore, and ordered nippon's, they sent me stock bore, and they are designed for press fit wrist pins, so they will only work on stock rods. Since he wouldnt refund my $$ or correc the order (since he previously stated they would work on all forged rods) I went to a different company.

But yeah, I am broke PM me and i'll hook you up on some new never used stock bore nippon pistons.
