Re:D-series motors

What d15 block do you have?

if its the d15b6 or b8 with 8 valve reliefs in the pistons you may have a problem. But if the d15 is a b2 or b7 you can put a 16v 1.6 head on no problem..

The b2 and b7 already come with 1.6 heads, only differnece is the cam shaft.

Re:D-series motors

you can run the SOHC VETC ECU for the EX or run a CRX Si ecu and run VTEC off a rpm actiavated switch.

I strongly recommend the SOHC VTEC ECU

Re:D-series motors

if your a little slow when it comes to wires like myself you could get an 89 teg ecu and a vtec controler. you can rev the teg ecu to 7500 rpm instead of 7000 like an si ecu. just a thought.
