d series gurus, jdm d15b 1.5 vtec on a built z6 block
Here is the deal. I'm pretty sure my head on my d15b is good, but my spare z6 head is in unknown conidition. I recall reading a few years back that the head of on the jdm d15b is the same cast as the z6(dont know if that is true). I have a bad feeling that if I put this combo together my timing is going to be way off. Does anyone have any info on this? I want to put that d15b head on my z6 block if it can be done without alot of hastle.

d15b head is identical
d15b cam is slightly larger on the vtec lobe. A buddy of mine just got the tooling for everything so he will have specs up of the differences in sizes |

d15b's ------- get it for a d15 imo. mine ran a 15.4(all stock) in a crx si. is a very good motor I get like 35-40mpg too. Vtec in it is almost as loud as a b-series for some reason, for the price they are a good motor, just sucks can't get pistons for em.
