Default D series crank swap

have a 92 dx d15b7 long block that is just plain worn out , and going to be acquiring for free also a 98 civic DX motor... d16y7 i think it is.

what are the differences in stroke? and or crank dimensions?

Really now, how do you explain the 97cc's difference in displacement??

my understanding is that d15's and d16's have different deck heights, so longer stoke = more displacement.

why swap cranks, just swap engines
