Default D-series clutch Q!!

what would you guys think that a stock factory D16Z6 clutch that still holds awesome for power shifting naturally aspirated would hold up to in boost levels? I'd be shooting for 10psi. I dont' have alot of money right now but may get enough to peace together a kit but not an extra 200 for a 6puck clutch

Thanks in advance

Most Stock clutches are ok for light boost. 10 psi will not be held by any stock clutch more then a few weeks if you want to rip on it. If you just throw a puck disk in there, it will hold about about 25% more tq with oem pp.

go get a lifetime warranty clutch from kragan or autozone and just keep taking it back and replace it every other week :P

that would suck..id rather shell out the cash and buy a clutch specialties and save yourself the headaches. maybe you can just buy a the 6 puck disc itself. i ran one with the stock pressure plate and it held up fine 15 psi on a z6

or a stock disc and a aftermarket PP works well to.
either way you look at it...100% stock wont work.

This is True also, Just giving him the most cost efficient route. A disk is cheaper then a pressure plate usually.
Although it would be funy to see the look on the autozone guy's faces after u go through 4 clutches in 1 month.
