dseries-

88- 190mm face
89- 200mm face
90+- 212mm face

I forget the number of splines. I know 88's splines are different. 89+ use the same splines

I got a 89 DX clutch on my 90 STD 4 speed. Works perfect?? Well, the Civic the DOHC ZC came out of was a 89. maybe it had a 90+ Si trans. i dont know and nevermind.

Re: D series clutch compatability

why are you all making this difficult.

90+ clutch are the same, but 90-91 use a differant TOB because they are cable.

89 to 95 1.6 clutches are all the same as far as my local autoparts supplier knows. :l

Re: D series clutch compatability

88 si trans has a different spline count on the input shaft than 89+...only like 19 teeth or something like that, whereas newer models were like 22 teeth. Don't remember the exact teeth count, so don't kill me on that one...all I know is 88 is less teeth.
