I haven't been in the market for CTR parts but someone has offered me a full set of pistons, rods and a crankshaft, supposedly all new/excellent condition for $500. I'm not sure if thats worth it, any input would be great.

 

as far as i know the pistons are the only thing diferent, and like ghetto said, you can get em on ebay all the time, the crank, i believe is the same, just to let you know, i got a b16 crank off of ebay for 10 bucks plus shipping. i wouldn't do it

 

i dont even think there's a way to prove that the crank and rods are genuwine CTR. pistons you can prove.

basically a CTR is a de-stroked ITR motor. so the crank is probably b16. the block height is the same as a b18c
