well how much money you got? if you can do the b16 swap and boost it... then 100% do that

Just boost the Dseries now if your low on funds and you can make it pretty quick with a good solid turbo setup&tuning just running a stock Dseries.B16 is great but i would rather have a turbo D then a NA B16.

i don't think ive ever heard anything bad about the jdm d15b. thats the one with the two stage vtec right? ive seen a video of it with the multimatic transmission. it was at 7 grand and it accelerated about 40 mph without changing rpms. pretty bad ass imo.

Re: CRX question

i thought it was to but it only has one vtec solinoid thing. so im not sure, can you guys suggest the stuff i would need for a kit a have never messed with turbo. i love the power gains and the bov, so im sure i want to boost it.

d15b has different cam is all i know. I think its just a destroked z6. i would just boost the d series. i had a d15b in my old hatch and it felt the same as a z6. no need to swap it out

Re: CRX question

D15b is almost exactly the same as a z6 top end, but more or less with a cx bottom. Put a d15b in my friends del sol back in october and was not impressed. Felt a little slower than the z6 and the downside is you can't really find aftermarket pistons and rods for it. Stick with the z6. At least you know if it breaks you can always find parts for it anywhere.

My freind has a d15b in his crx and it runs strong. He ran a 15.4 in it and he is a pussey driver. It is almost the same as a z6 top end. and the bottom end uses d16 rods but has a shorter stroke so only the pistons are different (correct me if im wrong)

I believe journal size is different also. Top end is exactly the same as a z6, uses a z6 water pump, but i think you need a cx timing belt. It's just one of those weird motors.
