I have a rattling noise coming from my gauge cluster. Does anyone know what it is and how to fix it? I was thinking that it could have something to do with the speed sensor cable coming from the tranny. Thanks for helpful replies.

 

When does the "rattling" sound happen?

If only when you're driving, then I would also say the speedo cable.

Yeah only when I'm driving. When I come to a stop it goes it stops too. I guess I will take her apart and look at it. Might as well put in some cheap indiglos while I'm at it too.

 

those glo gauges are a waste of money. I had some and they fucked up like 2 weeks later, and you can't see your cluster real good with them on there but not lit up.

oh I got a CRX I use as a beater, it makes all kinda fucked up noises

 

when i hear noises comin from my car i just whale on it with my fist until it goes away - it works. sometimes :P

 

i just turn the stereo up a lil more.

 

If i had a dollar for every different noise my car makes id have about 5 dollars :P But one includes the blowoff valve
