Default CRX budget boost.

What's the fastest, cheapest way to get 300 hp out of a turbo B16? Can I just strengthen the internals, rebuild the head, throw on some bolt-ons, maybe put some nitrous in, and up the boost? What am I going to want, specifically? All this is for a project that may be coming up here in a few months, I haven't even bought the engine or turbo yet. I found a CRX for sale, so of course I have to start scheming.

There is no "fast way" about it man. The process starts with research. Check out the main site for the member's cars.

yup one bar of boost should do the trick....the engine can hold that amount of power...it's just a matter of tuning it right to prevent detonation....but it als depends on the condition of the engine....some people blow it up at that kinda power some people don't. make a good turbo setup...good management and good maintanance to the engine....look for a healthy engine before you buy one

turbo is definately the cheapest way to go for all time power, but I though that 300hp was about the time bseries rods let go, not really sure. You might wanna run some better head bolts as I've read that honda's bolts like to stretch under heavy boost. goodluck with the research.
