CRX B series swap Alternator

Ok, I'm still trying to get rid of all the little bugs...I droverx to work yesterday and had to jum it at the gas station, checked it at home then the alt is putting out 12v(I think its volts) across the battery so I was like it must be going bad since it should be around 14 or 15 to run and charge so i called the place i was going to get it rebuilt at and he said he had to do something like this a few eeks ago, appartently the voltage reg in the B alt dosen't work properly with the D series wiring and what not but either way anyone else have problems with an alt in a swapped car? I think i might just mount my d alt and call it a day, anyone have any thoughts, ideas, or experiemce with this?

Doesn't the ELD drop the battery voltage at idle and low throttle? So it ay be around 12?

I don't know but i thought at idle it was supposed to be putting out 15 volts to keep the battery charged? My 91 integra had 12 across the terminals with the car off and 15 across with the car on, the crx had 12 and 12...and my car had been getting wweaker and weaker untill i had to jump it the other day? Sooo its either a bad alt or its as the guy told me and the alt dosn't wrk with the crx wiring?
