Many awd cars can be as high as 35% drivetrain loss. Thus explaining why a wrx cant beat a 150 fwhp car on the freeway if that car makes torque.
word... awd is only cool off the line

of course you can make up for the fwd with some fatty ass slicks...i heard something rediculous once..like a 100 hp loss in the wrx drivetrain?? but then again..the same kid tried to tell me a honda making 300whp wouldn't take his stock camaro :(
