What happens when you drive a car with a cracked exhaust manifold for a long time, and im curious what happends when you turn the engine on with out a exhaust manifold whats the concequence.

 

I dont what car you have exactly but lets just say alot of burnt up ****. You know all those things directly in line with the lil holes the come out of the head... Yea those, they will be melted and will be flipping off you off in no time. Oh yea, forget about ur paint job... =) Just dont try it unless you have some nice fire extinguisher system in your hood that will automatically go off as soon as your engine bay catches fire...

 

Youll burn all you exhaust valves.

 

hahahaah man im not trying to do tha im just wonder what will hapend is no the im planing on doing tha and these is my freand car he just buy the car so the last owner was a girl she drive the car for good no how long so last nigth we put some headers the i have im my back yard, wen we wen for test at first the car we feal the power big diferent but wen warm up loose all the power berly move so was to late he is going to comback later on today to check wtf is wrong no cel tha is 95 Hatchback SOHC VTEC.

 

i've started up plenty of engines with no exhaust manifold whatsoever. its loud as ---- and shoots fire out the ports. dont do it for long periods of time.

I've driven hondas with open manifold for weeks at a time with no "burnt valves". its horseshit.
