are cp pistons good quality i know there forged but havent seen the listings in mags or catalogs just thought i would ask .i can get a set of 4 with rings for 300.00 also 84mm

Still seems large for even a sleeved block? How big can you go safely on a sleeve?

i have seen a few at 85 mm and 85.5 but i dont think i want to go that big i was going to buy them for the price but if i go stock bore i have rome for a few bores and hones just thought i would ask and see if these pistons where good quality or not .

84 mm just makes it almost a 2 liter. post pics when your finished or hell while your working on it :y

If it was sleeved, there is no way I'd go less than 84mm...most of the top guys are using 84-85mm sleeves, I've seen some using 86mm sleeves, and I saw an all motor car that had 87mm sleeves. It would be hard to draw a line between the sleeves when they are 87mm. :S

just picked up the pistons and rings and a clean 2000 si b16 valve cover for 330.00 super good deal . the guy has a lot of good parts for sale hes a local kid thats hurting for $$$ got to love it. ill try to get pics of every thing i have for the built tommoro or sunday got to get rods tommoro .

Damn. Good deal. They usually go for around 500 w/rings and pins. These aren't used are they?
