Default couple questions?

when i switched distributors for obd0-obd1 i thought i did it right. all my wireing seems right . so i have to reset the distributor . so i tdc the 1 and 4 pistons at which time the rotor should be pointing at the #1 cylinder right. ?

if you are at TDC on your #1 cylinder then the rotor will be slightly past the #1 lead on the cap. then just set the timing where it runs good. make sure you use the jumper also, but you dont have to
