Cooling fan questions

I decided to fit a civic half radiator into my celica, basically for space reasons.

I've already made brackets, and the radiator fits inside very well. My stock fan is too big for the radiator, so I'm looking at a new fan.

I've measured the stock radiator at about 14"x14", so I've pretty much narrowed it down to a 14 in fan. My question is, should I get a puller fan and mount it on the inside between the turbo/radiator, or should I mount it on the outside?

The radiator is not in front of the turbo, as that is on the passanger side and the radiator is on the drivers side. My downpipe is about 4 inches away from the radiator, but I've heat wrapped everything to keep the heat down, and to cover my ugly flux core welds ;) O0

Any imput would be great.

Re: Cooling fan questions

I have a 12" 1500cfm slim fan on my EF Honda and a Full Width Rad. My DP is 3" and is much closer to the fan then yours is. I had it as a pusher, but decided to mou tit as a puller. I read that when it is a pusher the little bit of blockage that the fan makes makes a difference going down the road. I don't think it's that significant though.

Any config you want will work. Even if you go to a 12" fan youll be fine seeing as an Aftermarket slim fan flows about1.5 more air then a stocker,
