Controlling Steering issues
i dunno the right section, but ever since i installed jk motorsports traction bar, its really hard to control, when in boost 2nd and 3rd gear, ive driven numerous boosted rides and i have good tires, is there something i should adjust?? its pretty bad, side to side swervin' , not cool. or what else could be fucked up that could cause this??

Re: Controlling Steering issues
It will really mess up your alignment if this is on a 88-91 hatch or 90-93 integra. You probably just need an alignment really really bad now. But make sure your bolts stay tight. All the bolts almost fell out of my friend's JK traction bar.

Re: Controlling Steering issues
You probably pulled the lower arms to far forward and created massive toe out. Like was mentioned, get an alignment or diy alignment with whatever you can think of. Toe is the easiest to measure. |
Re: Controlling Steering issues
on the rods that are adjustable ... its late i dont no the technical name (on the traction bar that is) where do they sit? even threads on each side... or does it matter??? if that makes any sense...
thanks again |
Re: Controlling Steering issues
How those rods are adjusted will mess with your alignment. Cars usually need different adjustments for each side since nothing is made perfect. I'd start out with them as evenly adjusted. It'll probably help with your issue if they aren't right now.
