Conneting rods & bearings..

Default Conneting rods & bearings..

I got a set of Eagle H-beam connecting rods & a new set of OEM bearings... thats fine right? theres no aftermarket bearings im spose to be using is there? I sure hope not lol

You'll be fine with the OEM bearings. Some people will suggest that you use SCL bearings but that is up to you. Futhermore, if the manufacturer of these H-Beam rods thought we would need special bearings, I think they would sell them or suggest what special bearings are needed.

.... I'm curious about that to. From my understanding if your using a non-turned crank you just use stock bearings (according to the # on the crank) and that if they aren't within spec after plastigaugeing there's something wrong??

If the crank is out of specs (ie worn), you'll have to machine/cut the crank and then use an oversized bearings set.

Sweet deal, cuz honda bearings are non returnable & I just got a set of GoldenEagle H-Beam rods Thanks for the info.
