Conflicting info for swapping LS into eg?

According to this guide:

http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/tech/swapguide1.pdf

A B18b will swap right in to an eg without an aftermarket mount kit. What the hell?

no mount kit needed. you use the integra driverside mount, and u can use the reast of the d series mounts. for the tranny and rear mount.

thats how i did mine in my old hatch

Aww snap maybe I should get an LS instead of a Z6 then....

Anyways I thought all B series had the same mounts, and you need mounts to swap a B16 in, so I just figured you needed mounts for an LS. Is the LS just special and has the same mounts as a D series?

LS is the cheapest way to get a good transmission.

LS mounts are not D-series, re read what hotsex said.

Yea I am for sure sick of this POS dx tranny that grinds in first. And the LS is also a MUCH better platform.

He only said I would need the teg driver side mount, all the rest of the stock D mounts will work. So most of the LS mounts are the same as D series?

And I'm guessing I would need the teg axles and shift linkage as well?

Dude, just post more pictures of the chicks you ---- around with and I'll drive across the continental US and install your swap for you. Don't even sweat it.

Oh man John. I got my LS longblock for cheap but trannies are another ball of wax. Your cheapest route would to find a cable LS but then you have to get a hydro to cable conv.($200 from hasport) or try to find a cheap LS hydro but even those are expensive from me searching. How much money do you have to spend on it? My longblock ran me 150 and 500 for my hydro gsr tranny but that was pure luck that I got it for that price. not to mention you need axles(100) obd1 ls dizzy (50-100) gsr driver side engine mount (30-50) gsr rear tranny bracket(20-40)clutch, flywheel if it's an auto or if it's from a cable or hydro setup)new exhaust manifold if you go turbo($$) Expect to be looking at a grand if not more for a quality swap with nice stuff.

Expect to pay a maximum of $500 for wrecked 70-120K mile Integra LS's sourced from the local paper. Should be wrecked so as to not have damaged ANY of the swap components or the rear disk brakes.

Then turn around and sell that ---- for a grand or more, advertised as a 50K mile swap like the Brand Name retailers do their high mileage JDM ----.
