I feel better now, i bought the car for $700 because the last owner couldn't get it to run after a year. I spent a few horus on it and had it going.

Well the starter wouldn't kick over so i had to go over the wiring since thekid did a auto to manual conversion and after that couldn't get the starter todo a damn thing, i found that i had to jump two wires together, and when they did that they changed the intake manifold so it would have a two wire IACV and the wire on the thermostat housing wasn't grounded good enough, so a quick reposition of the ground to the thermostat housing and wham she's up and running. Not too bad for a 96 EX Civic with 96k on it. Best part is that he gave me an extra manual tranny, pedal assembly, factory clutch lines, slave cyclinder, clutch master cyclinder, shift linkage so basically i have a whole swap to change another car to maunal, so after i sell that i should have a $300-$400 car with coilovers on it and a DC header. It was a win-win situation for me.

yeah i paid $700 got it from a guy on honda tech that couldn't get rid of it, i guess no one wanted a car that didn't run, it didn't scare me. He had a omni GLH too. The civic needed a new hood due to hood pins which i thought looked like dog crap and the bumper cover has 3" holes on the passenger side for vents for a side mount dsm intercooler. The kid started to put a turbo kit on it, but couldn't get the starter to kick over so he gave up. I got a OEM hood for $75 and a bumper cover for $50. I'll posst pics next time i go to the shop to work on it.
