compression ratio question with vitaras, yes i searched, brain no worky good

well i tried for a bit to try and figure out what i needed but i was up late last night and workin all day so brain no worky good

what would be an approximate CR with Vitara pistons in a Z6 motor?

im budget building the motor, but only shooting for 300-350 HP so im not gonna spend $400+ for pistons, the $300 or so i save on vitaras can go other well needed places

i want around an 8.5:1 to a 9:1 CR, if anyone can find out for me i'd appriate it

You dont want to use vitaras for 350whp, the c/r is to low and they are definatly not worth it.

what would be a good HP range for them? i dont have much of a problem with the CR being that low, although much lower and i'd probably scrap the idea of useing them

just buy them, jk tuning made 255 or something at only 14 psi. Beats the hell out of spending 400+ for a set of pistons. I got my block milled .040", the zeal calculator says its at 8.8:1 but i dont know for sure.

thats the entire reason i wanted them was because i dont wanna shell out $400+ for pistons right now, that saved cash is gonna buy me an LSD and help pay for my wideband as well

wont be louder than your exhaust. Mine sound like loud injectors. Doesnt bother me at all, the only time you even hear it is at idle. Dont be a bitch and not buy pistons beause their "too loud" Get rid of your turbo thats too loud then....
