compression prob?

Okay i started this a little while back but i never got an answer on it. I have a b18 (lsv (GSR head) with type r pistons on LS rods. would the compression be too high to run a turbo? I know the type r pistons AND type r or gsr rods will post a compression ratio around 11-1 but the ls rods are shorter, will i have a low enough compression to run the t3 turbo i have in my garage. Oh, btw, i can only run 91 oct. maximum...what kind of problems am i gunna have with the compression? Thanks yall, please don't hate, new to turbos

Re: compression prob?

no compresion is to high. just makes the turbo more eficiant. you will need one hell of a tune, and i think you might wnat to try and find some higher octane gass.
