okay so I picked up a bottom end has aftermaket piston. The question is do I have to pull the pistons ou the measure dich to figure out what compression I will have? How do you measure the dish? The guy I got it from said he doen't know the dish and lost the paper work.

You can "cc" them to measure the dish. You can get a syringe fill it with water and measure how much it takes to fill the dish.

 

so I the amount off cc it takes to fill would be a negative measurement on the compression calculator?
