Code 4- Worth Fixing? Affect Performance?

My car just started throwing a code 4, I randomly looked at the ecu and it was flashing code 4, check engine light doesnt come on though and I dont really notice any differences anywhere
What affect does code 4 have? Why is it being thrown? Worth fixing?

The car is an obdo 88 crx with a d16a6 - turbo

Thanks

i threw a code 4 last week, turns out i had a loose wire on my jumper harness. I believe it's for the ckp sensor in the diz. You'll know when it causes a problem cause your car can't run without it ;)

code 4 = crank angle = dist.

your check engine light should come on for 3 sec when u start the car.. does it? if not, some1 yanked the bulb or it's burnt.

1st step, reset the ecu and see if it comes back.

2nd, if it comes back, check all wiring.

3rd, if wiring checks out ok, replace dist.

your car should be in limp mode w/ that CEL.. 3k rev limit? and yes, this will make starting a little rougher.
