ok i have a problem, my crx us throwing a code 4, yesterday the check engine light came on right as i was pulling up in the driveway and today it will start but i have to keep giving it gas to keep it running and it runs like ----. it is throwing a code 4 which is ckp sensor. when i turn the key to the on position the fuel injectors start pumping gas. can the ckp sensor be replaced, or do i have to replace the whole distributor? and could there be any other cause for this to happen?

Code 4 is not CKP. Code 4 is TDC. TDC is where the ECU derives initial ignition timing from - it's no wonder the car doesn't want to start + runs like ***.

Check TDC pinpoint tests as described in a Helms manual, continuity with the ECU, reluctor air gap, etc. The usual ----. Fix whatever is broken, and don't fix anything that isn't.
