code 14 IACV cel wont go away... wtf
ok, i tried almost everything that was listed on the sticky up top about the IACV's and such...
this is what is happening....
car idles at 700-900 or so, when it is cold, and warmed up it goes to 1000-1100 around that area. DOES NOT SURGE. now, i have replaced my TB gasket, check to see if the IACV works ( connected wires to + and - and it clicks), tired another IACV, Pluged up both holes in the TB and it ALMOST DIES.
no this problem started to happen after i put on a Skunk 2 IM. THE MOTOR IS A GSR. i dont have the EVAP puge solenoids connected so the plugs are just laying there. all vaccum hose are routed correctly besides the PCV because i dont have one, i just run it from the IM to my BOV.
when i take the plug off of the IACV, nothing happens... i had a friend check the voltage on the plug a while back, and it was reading .23X or something along those lines.... is that to low?? did a wire come lookse or something?? i checked the wires on my ecu and its all good.
i dont know what to do anymore, someone help!!!
thanks for reading this

.23X
so when the car sits over night and you start it it doesnt go above 1000 til its warm, then goes too high?
have you tightened the white cap thingy in the Fast Idle Thermo Valve (that thing under the TB, if equipped?)
What ECU are you using? what car? EF? DC? obd0 obd1 ?

Re: code 14 IACV cel wont go away... wtf
thats what he said, im gonna go check again.
no, when the car sits overnight, and i start it it will idle at where it is supposed to when it is warmed up, at around 700 and when the car finally gets warmed up, it idles at about 1000. i think it might be a small vaccum leak but idk where it is.
the ecu is a p28 in a 95 civic ex with a 94 gsr OBD1
