clutch/tranny question about a d-series (honda)
ok i need to know, i have a tranny i bought and its a si but im not sure what the year is. the tranny has a spline count of 20 (so i know its a 89-91) i read that the flywheel for an '89 is 200mm, while the '90-'91 is 212mm.....so the question is... if i happen to have a '89 would the '90-'91 clutch/flywheel still fit the tranny???? thanks for any info

Re: clutch/tranny question about a d-series (honda)
huh???????
if i happen to have a '89 would the '90-'91 clutch/flywheel still fit the tranny 89-2000 clutch will fit the 20 spline tranny. What flywheel you have???? Just get a 90-2000 flywheel, save all this trouble. |
Re: clutch/tranny question about a d-series (honda)
i may have a '89 tranny (im not positive, all i know is it has a 20 spline count) but i want a clutch/flywheel from a '90-'91 because the flywheel is 212mm(instead of 200mm) does that make any more sense?? (sorry if my post is/was confusing)

Re: clutch/tranny question about a d-series (honda)
89-2000 trannys are all 20 spline..........
I still don't see how you are confused. Tranny has nothing to do with the flywheel. |

yes, the 90-91 flywheel and clutch will work with your tranny.
