Clutch Time

Ok i'm going to buy a clutch from LSD mike for my b16. I wanna have about 300-350 hp, and probably around 250 daily. This car is no race car and will be daily driven so i need something easy. Now since it's a b16 i'm assuming even with a turbo the torque shouldn't be too crazy so i'm thinking i could get away with something a little weaker? What combo would you guys suggest from mike?

Re: Clutch Time

Nothing less than his 6 puck

Sprung if your chinese cause of your chopstick legs

Unsprung for the cheap and reliable factor

Seriously though, his 6 puck unsprung mated to a 12LB steel flywheel he sells would be tits

Thats what I have on my d16 (same power level) and its amazing

i just resurfaces my flywheel cause i'm a lame ass. But yeah i was thinking of the 6 puck sprung. I'd rather be a little ----- cause i'm going to drive it a ton and my legs get sore from work all day also. What basket should i get?

I work all ------- day to, sprung is just one more thing to go wrong, and you spend more money

Just call Mike up tomorrow and tell him your power level and "----- level" and he'll give you the honest answer out of his lineup

I wouldnt get a 6 puck for a DD. I always run a stock disc with a clutch masters sage 2 PP.

I got a 6 puck on my daily. Absolutely fine

If you get stuck in traffic for more than 10 min then it might not be the best

But if you wanna hold all that power without slipping when your girls pussies getting all hot n wet Id go for it.

Knowbody wants to let a wet ----- go dry, ------- rip it 6 puck

stage 4 of 4 son, my clutch cable adjuster bracket bend when I push my clucth in. thats DD right there
1900ft/lbs of clamping force, clutch slip can suck my dick this year

Re: Clutch Time

ran an act xtssssss 6 puck unsprung for one year in daily 1hr traffic
my left foot is now 10 times stronger than my right one

I just took it out last week and the flywheel is R.I.P.
If that aint clamping force I dunno what is...

I prefer slipping clutches and having to pedal the gas in all gears. O0

Re: Clutch Time

woah boy, tons of different answers. So i think we have the side that is pro 6 puck and says eveyone's a -----, and the other side that says there's other alternatives?

Do the springs often go bad and fall out or are you guys just cheap ----------ers and don't even wanna risk it?

Also don't unspring clutches chatter more?
