Re: clutch pressure??

ya its the same.
if you're not getting pressure pressing slow and easy, press really hard a dozen times. Just mash it. It should come back.

Re: clutch pressure??

its gonna drop to the floor, you have to pump it (ie: pull it up and push it down)

Re: clutch pressure??

yea u have to pull the pedal up then pump it, hold, bleed, release, repeat.....
if u`ve just donw a swap, make sure the slave cyl. sits right.
and hopefully you did put the clutch/fork in correctly :-X

Did you ever get this working???

I replaced my slave cylinder a few days ago and cannot get pressure back. I've bled and pumped and bled some more. Pedal drops to the floor and does not come back up. The old one got damaged during a tranny swap and held some pressure. I suspect that the new one might be leaking at the bleed screw, but I'm not sure... :-\

Re: clutch pressure??

another trick is to take off the cap and push on the fork(left)
the bubbles will go out the other way

Re: clutch pressure??

all u need to do is get a hose, put it on the end of the bleeder valve right by the main shaft/lever for the throwout bearing is. Start pumping the brakes and make sure the hose is engulfed by fluid. Have a friend help if you can, make sure the master cylinder stays full as ur pumping also... So keep pumping all the way to the floor and then hold it.. repeat the process a few times and u should be fine
