which clutch/flywheel combo for 350whp
 

what should i look for in a clutch/flywheel combo that would be good for mostly DD and 350whp
for flywheel would a 8 lb. be too little? i was looking at fidanza
and for clutch. i was thinking 6puck sprung exeddy, clutchmaster, act
want to know what you think, or are currently using on a similar setup

slicks size will make a huge difference also brand has little do with it has act has so many levels. The hd will not hold that power but an extreme will.

exedy stage 2. its such a nice clutch. ----, bill made 437 on it no problem and rapes it daily, and its the old clutch out of my dads car.

That's the first negative thing I've ever heard about the Clutch Specialties clutches that LSD Motorsports sells. Their customer service is second to none. Seriously, Mike is the easiest guy to deal with...bar none. If you ever had a problem with a pressure plate he'd make it right however he could.

That's just my opinion based on several large dollar amount transactions with Mike, he's always taken good care of me.

He doesn't sell just Clutch Specialties. I got my ACT clutch from him, and I know he carries Exedy too. I told you, he'll hook you up ;)

Thats because they are stock plates painted high temp black ;)

The ACT HD and Clutch specialties HD are very close in pedal feel and tq rating. The ACT Xt and Clutch Specialties Xtreme (stage 4) are also very comparable in the same manner. Both are good clutches, one is gold and has the equivalent price tag, the other is black and a lot friendlier on the wallet. Feel free to ask any questions about either, We keep the ACT in stock as well.

well from what i know, uve got the customer service down to a T and that is very important
if the comparison are trully very similar then from the looks of it mike, im leaning over to geting this stuff from you

Either or, you can also call if you want to place the order that way. im going to post some pics of each and do a write up very soon about clutches so people can see the difference and understand what factors are important when choosing a clutch.

best deal I have come across for power handing and price tag to match has been clutchnet. great guys to deal with too. just can take some time on getting the product unless you tell them ya I need it tomorrow. lol my brother in law got one form them for his ls/vtec holds 500lbs tq and 600 hp with light weight flywheel for 600 shipped. thing is a BEAST dual diaphram. Accordepicenter also runs there dual diaphram in is a20 turbo accord these things bit like a motha :6

I am using a Clutch Specialties stage 3 sprung 6 puck , Just installed it the other week with my motor swap and this thing grips hard and the pedal isn't bad at all, I'm not boosted yet but hoping for around 300 I'll let you know hopefully within the next 2 weeks...I also got a stage 2 for my gf lil bros teg and they are good clutches ;)
