whatsthe best way to clean up a stripped block besides having it hot tanked

simple green (full strength)
toothbrush
safety glasses
compressed air

then carb cleaner

then WD40 for the bores

brake cleaner did the trick for me. the ---- is on sale at autozone right now. i stocked up. i think its $1.29 a can. it did the trick quite nicely.

why not get it hot tanked its like 35 bucks(well here at least). if not do what crx304 and junkyard said then hit it up with the power washer.

local place charges 80 for a hot tank and is the only place around that can do it
