Civic wont start need help
 
Ok was going down the street like 60MPH then was coming to a stop light car just died flat out diesd batt and oil light show up,i wasl ike ok no prob when light turned green went to start car and BOOM back fire and smoke no start and now it wont start at all cranks but no starting can someone please help!!!Thanks

probably weak battery. had the same thing happen to me. i thought i blew my motor. i would push start the car, and it would sound like i was running on three cylinders and die after like 20 feet. go get your battery tested at an auto store.

nope not battery i have OIl on my #2 plug(from the left)and it is cranking but not starting.Anyone know WTF is up?lol thanks also im looking for injectors(4),a ECU,and Distributor off a 88-91 civic or CRX Si to do my mini me swap maybe that will take care of it..lol

the only things that come to mind are battery(you say its good), starter(wouldn't cause your car to backfire though), and distributor. somebody else?

Car jumped timing destroyed 2nd cylinder(valves n shuit so far)and it wont start kuz the compressions not there o im doing mioni-me swap tomorrow

check your tensioner as well then. might need a new one if the belt jumped a tooth.
