civic gauge cluster swap help!!!!
 

i have a 92 civic cx (no tach in stock cluster) so im getting a new jdm cluster and i need to know about the mileage iv heard the honda dealer will turn back the odometer it that true ....... also ive heard you can swap out the odometers in each pretty easily ......anyone know how?????

i work at honda......and they dont do anything like that. but i've never heard of the swapping out of miles thingy. all you have to do is tell the dmv that the old guage broke and you bought a new used one. it worked for my jdm one. went from 140xxx miles to 42xxx miles....and all they said was...."ok"

Ya, it's technically "illegal" to roll back an odometer. Just write down your miles, and add them up. No one will care.. chances are you wno't be selling your car anyway. Take it to the grave! It'll be a "classic". :)

here in kansas city its illegal too..but if ur like me...---- it roll it back....cause im not selling the rex....its gonna stay with me til i die...or its totalled...unless some wanna be punk ass kid offers me like loads of money...hehehehe
