Civic front wheel bearings
I need to replace the front wheel bearings on my civic, i no they are pressed in, so should u buy the wheel bearings for 40 bucks for each one and press them out at my shop witht he press, or should i just say its not worth the time and pain in the ass effort and go with some hugs that already have bearings installed, i also gotta do a rack and pinion, anyone know where you can get a good price on a non power steering rack and pinon, are parts house wants 220 and thats are cost on it

Re: Civic front wheel bearings
well we have a press at my shop, so ill just pull the knuckles at home, and then press them in there, i might not have to replace my rack, i think the play is all in the inner sockets, that whould be so much cheaper

Re: Civic front wheel bearings
Press your old bearings out. ITs really not that bad. Dont forget to get an aligment afterwards though. I just replaced my hub bearings like 5 months ago.
