chips in piston?

i took my pistons to the machine shop to get them cleaned because my car was under sea water ::) but i got them back and they have little chips in the side right above where the rings go. is that gonna matter? the machine shop guy is pretty cool and very helpful so im pretty sure he would have told me not to use them if it woulda been a problem but i just wanna hear ya'lls opinion

One of my engine for my r/c had a dent in the corner of it. Used it anyways and it still worked. :D I guess at least make sure your rings are still good. Eh, run it and let us know what happens :D

You have to get the pics online so we can all see them first.
I recommend going to www.photobucket.com and signing up for a free account. Then upload your pics to the account. Below your uploaded pics you will see the image link (http address). Simply copy and paste that into a reply message. It should be wrapped in the http://..... tags.
