Re: Check engine light codes...please help.
just sprayed it down with no removeing plugs for sensors or anything? think you maybe got some water in the dizzy cap?

Re: Check engine light codes...please help.
Start with popping off your distributer cap and spraying a bit of WD40 on the contact points. I have had it happen in the past where the water still got in the dizzy even though it was "covered" as best I could and it would idle like a WRX. if that still doesn't work you might need to check and see if soem water got in the spark plug holes and blow dry with air.

Re: Check engine light codes...please help.
I changed the distributor cap and rotor for new ones and this crap stil doesn't start. A mechanic friend of mine says he wants to check the compression. It'll be realy fucked up if something is wrong with a piston or some other crap. Does anybody on here know wtf it could be? I'm stressed over this. I've been without a car for 6 days now.

Re: Check engine light codes...please help.
Well I just did a compression test and 220 across all cylinders, nothing wrong there. but the motor stil has two dead cylinders. I'm almost ready to tow it to a hi tech shop and risk getting screwed over.
