Re:Cheapo Autozone rotors????
I don't see why not. I just replaced all of mine with those. You can get a good deal on Brembos on Ebay once in a while if you're looking for a brand name.

Re:Cheapo Autozone rotors????
they will warp easier than the better rotors if your hard on brakes ,but as far as being safe their fine
I install them on customers cars all the time they seem to hold up pretty good |

Re:Cheapo Autozone rotors????
I use them on our shop CRX, which doubles as my autocross car. I took the time to bed them in after install, and they work great. I am using upgraded pads however.

Re:Cheapo Autozone rotors????
I get them. I have both front and rears. I can't afford to spend too much money on things that don't make me go faster.
I know the are important, but the cheapys still work. |
Re:Cheapo Autozone rotors????
i heard the brand that they sell are made by brembo ;)

Re: Cheapo Autozone rotors????
they used to be Brembo, now some Tiwanese junk, warped them and FORCED them to take them back. They offered to turn/replace them, too late, already put the stockers back on.

Re: Cheapo Autozone rotors????
i'm on white box $15 rotors(ea) for about a year and theyre still holding up good, I'd remove your dust shield to allow extra air for cooling, yes you'lll have more brake dust getting on your suspension components, but this is not a bad thing either cuz it prevents rust if youre living in harsh climates such as canada
any way, I have had the same rotors on my CRX when I had it and they held for a year and a half, pretty cheap to do a break job every year and only spend 60 bux in total, and its not like I baby my car either, alot of times i'm going from 80miles -0 on the highway and my brakes are heating like a ----------er you can even smell them but they havent warped yet. |
