my girl has a 95 del sol. needs a rebuild because the stock d15 thats in there keeps blowing gaskets and i dont have the tiem or money to pull it all apart and send it to a machine shop. so i have a z6 out of the last sol we had and it looks like this is the one that gunna go into it but its got just under 200k. me personally if this sol didnt fall apart id still b driving it rackin up mor miles, but my girl needs piece of mind and wants it done and done right.

so i was lookin around and seeing what i might b able to do about it and i was thinkin if the comp is still decent i was just gunna do a new water pump/timing belt and basic tune up on it and throw it in the new sol. its just a dd nothing special its still an auto and will be for a while but is there somethign i could/should do to ensure longer life of this bitch? i dont really want to pull the head but ebay has some good deals on a full gasket kit w/tb+wp. i had a 90 teg that had 260k when i got rid of it and its still goin so i know milage isnt a huge thing.

basically what is some ---- you guys have done to ensure a safe dd for your ladies

ran good b4 it came out. if i had a shell id toss the bitch in to make my dd and romp on it some more. but she wants no probs later on when she starts working out of town.

my main ? is more or less is there a better place to buy wp/tb other than ebay. they have kits for under 80 bux but i dont know how good or bad the quality is. any one use them?

FJ Distributors has gasket kits, dont know the quality but i have used the ebay gasket kit and was not pleased with quality.
