pull your valve cover off and look to see where your cam gear lines are at.. Look down at your crank pully and line up the red line (the one that is all by its self, not the on that has two lines next to it) to the pointer on your timing belt cover.



long story short red line crank tdc and cam gear lines even with head.

 

hold a peice of sand paper on the crank and have someone crank it over, it cleans the pully and show off the marks a ---- tone better
