kind of like my ***** sorry, had to. but it's not when the engine is cold, it's after i have been driving for a while, then come to a stop and this is when it occurrs, i'm just saying it has only happened when it's cold out, but now that i've fixed the tb leak, i just reset my ecu and it's good......... until next time anyways, it has only happened this once since i replaced my tb gasket, it ran fine with no cel for over a week.......

nope, i reset my ecu after and the cel went away and it ran/runs fine. but, keep in mind that it ran fine for two weeks with no cel and no problems, then one morning right before i got to work the cel came on, so, i'm sure it's bound to happen again, and i'll reset my ecu and it will be fine for another week or two :P

it could also be a problem with the seal between the im and the head, a guy I know with an accord had a really crappy idle (high, low, high, low) and it turned out that a piece of his im gasket was missing.

yeah, i thought about that as well, but i haven't felt like pulling the i.m. off, and it was an oem honda i.m. gasket, i paid 15 bucks for the mother ****** as opposed to 3 bucks for a generic one, it better have sealed right :P

Check all gaskets that have been removed. Heres another thing to try. Take the plug off of you IAC let it idle for a while till it comes up to temp. Then set your idle with the idle screw. When it is set put the plug back on and you are good to go. You might want to reset your ECU also.

that's just it, it's not a bad idle and the car runs great except for once in a blue moon the iacv cel pops on and the idle goes high and it starts sputtering when i press the gas this has only happened 3 times, then i park the car for a while, reset the ecu, and everything is fine? other than these three instances, the car runs/idles perfect with no cel, i guess it's just a mystery i'll have to live with :P
