car overheating under load
 
90 crx mini me swap wit t3 turbo wit 92-95 radiator. my car is only over heating under load or hard boost. anybody know of anything i can add to radiator to keep car cool. down pipe is wrapped wit heat wrap that shits not workin and no thermostat. and i tried watter wetter that ---- worked on my dual cam all motor but not single cam turbo. somebody help please

if your over heatin with no thermostat, something is not right.

try wraping the turbo it self, and are you geting good flow to the the radiator, make sure nothing is preventing air from flowing, "bunch of bent fins, leaves, dead birds" and you can turn on the heat ;)

For real something is seriously wrong if you overheat without a thermostat. Drain your coolant for us and tell us what it looks like.

my coolant is clean and my radiator is almost new couple of bent fins

No. A lean idle and cruise would though. If you're running lean enough to overheat like you explain under load you'll melt the engine in no time. You have a fucked headgasket most likely.

I dout im lean i have my vtec controller set at -40 wit 450 injec it shouldnt b lean kuzz im not cruzin in boost even though im not tuned yet i doubt it

i should have thought of this earlier, but maby your water pump is messed up, my old d16 would overheat, typically when i was ------- around on the high way, and then it would stop, turned out to be the water pump,,, just another thing to look in to

Are you kidding me! You need a thermostat in the car it restricts the water flow. It keeps it in the radiator longer so it can disipate heat.
